Katie Healy

Katie Healy is in her second season on the Loyola University Chicago women's basketball coaching staff.  Healy, who played under current Loyola head coach Kate Achter for three seasons at St. Bonaventure, serves as the team's video coordinator.

"I am so thrilled to add Katie to our staff," Achter said.  "She is arguably one of the best players that I have ever had the pleasure of coaching, and is fresh off a stellar professional playing career overseas.  Katie's work ethic and commitment to winning habits make her a fantastic addition to a coaching staff that is already thoroughly committed to our student-athletes."

A three-time All-Atlantic 10 Conference selection at St. Bonaventure, Healy closed her collegiate career ranked in the top five in both scoring (4th, 1,708 points) and rebounds (3rd, 833).  The Lancaster, N.Y. native also holds the program's career record for blocks (155).  Healy was one of only two players in St. Bonaventure history to close her career with over 1,600 points and 800 rebounds.

Healy helped lead the Bonnies to a pair of postseason appearances, including a trip to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in 2017.  Following her time at St. Bonaventure, she played professionally in Greece for two seasons with Panionios of the Greek Women's Basketball League, where she averaged 13.1 points and 11.1 rebounds over 26 appearances in her final season with the team.

Healy earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from St. Bonaventure in 2016.
