The Valley on ESPN3 vs. DePaul | Live Stats vs. DePaul

CHICAGO (October 16, 2017) –
Following back-to-back games on the road, the Loyola University Chicago men's soccer team will return to the friendly confines of Loyola Soccer Park on Tuesday night when it takes on city rival DePaul in a 7 p.m. kickoff.

Last Time Out: Loyola extended its current unbeaten run to three games this past Saturday as it downed Evansville, 3-0, at Arad McCutchan Stadium in Evansville, Ind.  Senior Elliot Collier netted a pair of goals and assisted on junior Alec Lasinski's second-half tally to held lead the Ramblers to their first road win over the Purple Aces since the 1993 campaign.  Freshman goalkeeper Evan Konermann notched a pair of saves en route to collecting his second consecutive shutout.

vs. DePaul: DePaul finds itself in the midst of a three-game skid that has seen its record drop to 4-8-1 (1-3-1 BIG EAST).  In their most recent contest, the Blue Demons fell to No. 20 Butler, 2-0, this past Saturday in Indianapolis, Ind.  Head coach Craig Blazer's team is led in the offensive third by the trio of Philipp Konigstein, Stijn Van der Slot and Istvan Wilhelms. Konigstein currently leads the team in scoring with five goals and two assists, with Wilhelms (3 goals, 4 assists) and Van der Slot (4 goals, 1 assist) close behind.  Quentin Low has been a mainstay in goal this season for DePaul, having started in all 13 contests. Low sports a 1.43 goals against average and a 0.708 save percentage.

Series Stuff: Loyola and DePaul will meet for the 37th time on Tuesday evening.  The Ramblers own an 18-14-4 lead as part of an all-time series that dates back to the 1981 season.  Loyola has had the upper hand in the series of late, going unbeaten (2-0-1) in the last three matchups between the north side rivals.  In last season's clash between the two teams at Wish Field, Lasinski and Connor Stevenson both recorded goals as Loyola breezed past DePaul by a final score of 2-0.  The win was the Ramblers' first on the road over the Blue Demons since the 2000 season.

After This: Loyola closes out a brief two-game homestand on Saturday (Oct. 21) when it hosts Valley foe Bradley at 7:30 p.m.
