Live Stats vs. Missouri State

CHICAGO (October 27, 2017) – The Loyola University Chicago men's soccer team will look for its third conference victory in as many games this Saturday when it takes on Missouri State at 7 p.m. at Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium in Springfield, Mo.
 
Last Time Out: Loyola dropped a 2-1 decision in double overtime to local rival Northwestern this past Tuesday at Martin Stadium to close out non-conference play.  Sophomore Aidan Megally netted his third goal of the season in the 76^th minute to cancel out Ty Seager's opening goal before Tommy Katsiyiannis delivered the night's deciding strike with just over six minutes remaining in the second extra session.
 
vs. Missouri State: Missouri State brings an impressive overall record of 9-3-1 into Saturday night's matchup with Loyola.  The Bears currently sit atop of the MVC table, having gone 5-1-0 in six league contests.  Leading the attack for veteran head coach Jon Leamy's team on the offensive end is Connor Ingram.  Ingram has scored a team-high seven goals, which places him as part of a tie for third on the Valley leaderboard in the category.  Goalkeeper Liam Priestley has played in every minute of every game for the Bears and sports a sparkling 0.45 goals against average that leads the MVC.
 
Series Stuff: Missouri State holds a 5-2-2 edge in nine all-time meetings with the Ramblers.  That mark includes a 2-0-1 advantage in the three games played in Springfield, Mo.  The two teams split a pair of games last season.  Loyola picked up a 2-0 shutout win in Rogers Park during the regular season before falling in overtime, 2-1, in the semifinals of the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Championship. 
 
After This: Loyola returns home for the final time next Saturday (Nov. 4) to host Evansville in its regular-season finale.  The Ramblers will honor their senior class in a special pregame ceremony prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff at Loyola Soccer Park.
