Each fall, the Loyola men's basketball team assists with Misericordia Family Day, helping prepare food and set up for one of its biggest events of the year.

The mission of Misericordia Heart of Mercy is to support children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing the highest quality residential, training and employment services. Misericordia provides a full continuum of care to meet each person's changing needs and maximize his or her independence, self-determination, interpersonal relationships and engagement in the community.

Prior to the men's game December 16, the Loyola women's basketball team will take on UMKC at noon.
