FRISCO, Texas - The Texas Legends, NBA G League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks, announced today the inaugural Texas Legends College Classic, a four-day college basketball showcase set to take place December 18-21, 2026, at Comerica Center in Frisco.

The Texas Legends Classic will feature eight Division I men's basketball programs competing in a total of eight games over four days.

Loyola will play a two-game slate beginning with Florida Atlantic on Dec. 18. The Ramblers and Owls last met in 2023-24 during the Barstool Sports Invitational at Wintrust Arena to open the season's campaign. The nationally ranked FAU squad took the win, 75-62.

The Ramblers close the Classic with Nevada on Dec. 20. It will mark the third meeting with the Wolf Pack. Loyola knocked off Nevada in the 2018 Sweet Sixteen, 69-68, while the Wolf Pack won a few months later in Gentile Arena, 79-65.

The Texas Legends Classic continues the Texas Legends' commitment to expanding premier basketball opportunities at Comerica Center while providing fans with access to high-level collegiate competition. The event will feature programs representing the Mountain West Conference, PAC 12 Conference, Atlantic 10 Conference, American Athletic Conference, and West Coast Conference.
