Loyola Limited Chosen As New Concessionaire For Ramblers Athletics Contests

Credit cards will now be accepted at concession stands

CHICAGO (August 27, 2018) – The Loyola University Chicago Athletics Department is proud to announce that Loyola Limited has been selected as the new concessionaire for all Ramblers athletics contests for the 2018-19 academic year. Loyola Limited will provide food service for fans at Ramblers athletics events at Gentile Arena, Loyola Soccer Park and Loyola Softball Park.

"We are extremely excited about the opportunity to partner with Loyola Limited and their new brand, The Wolf's Kettle, on our athletics concessions operations," Loyola senior associate athletics director for external operations Tom Sorboro said. "We have worked closely with Loyola Limited on a number of events and initiatives in the past and have been extremely impressed with the work of the students involved. We have no doubt that they will bring the same level of professionalism, dedication, creativity and business acumen to this endeavor. This is a great partnership for the University and we are eager for our loyal fans to experience all that this student-run business will have to offer."

Loyola Limited, which operates and manages Ireland's Pub 10, Felice's Kitchen and The Flats at Loyola Station, along with others, seeks to transform Loyola undergraduate students into leaders by providing them with unparalleled experiential learning opportunities in entrepreneurship and small business management, where students are empowered to create, develop, manage and lead business ventures.

"It's been a rewarding experience working on this new business venture," Ireland's President Dillon Kurila said. "Our team has been working very hard over the past year to make this happen and it is amazing to see all of the hard work finally paying off."

With Loyola Limited in the fold, fans will now be able to purchase beer and wine at games played at Gentile Arena and credit card transactions will be accepted at the concession stands.

Loyola's first official home game of the 2018-19 academic year takes place today, when the men's soccer team hosts Cleveland State at 4 p.m. at Loyola Soccer Park.
