CHICAGO (September 4, 2018) – The Loyola University Chicago men's basketball Missouri Valley Conference schedule for the 2018-19 season was announced today and head coach Porter Moser's troops will open Valley play at home on January 2 versus Indiana State.
 
Following the Valley opener, which comes on the heels of a 10-day gap between games, back-to-back road contests await the Ramblers, who will visit Drake (Jan. 5) and Evansville (Jan. 9) before returning to Gentile Arena for matchups with Illinois State (Jan. 12) and Valparaiso (Jan. 15).
 
After hitting the road to take on Indiana State (Jan. 19) and Missouri State (Jan. 23), Loyola makes its way back to Rogers Park to close out the month of January with home games against Southern Illinois (Jan. 27) and UNI (Jan. 30).
 
Eight more games are on the docket in February and the Ramblers kick off that month by playing three of their first four away from home, beginning with a trip to Illinois State (Feb. 2). Drake comes to town on February 5 before Loyola packs its bags again, this time for contests at Valparaiso (Feb. 10) and Bradley (Feb. 13). 
 
Loyola closes out the month with showdowns versus Missouri State (Feb. 17) and Evansville (Feb. 20) at Gentile Arena and road games at Southern Illinois (Feb. 24) and UNI (Feb. 27). The Ramblers conclude the regular season on March 2, when Bradley pays a visit to Chicago, then head to St. Louis for Arch Madness, March 7-10.
 
One change has been made to the Ramblers' nonconference slate that was announced last week, with the game versus Benedictine moving up one day to December 18.
