CHICAGO (February 22, 2019) – Loyola University Chicago women's volleyball coach
Amanda Berkley and her staff will conduct four camps during the month of July this summer. Under the guidance of Berkley, who was in her first season on the Loyola bench, the Ramblers were one of only 18 NCAA Division I programs to boast a 10-match improvement in the win column from 2017.
The slate of camps opens up with the Middle School Camp, July 7-9. Open to girls in grades 4 through 8, registration is $275 per camper, and concentration will focus on the fundamentals of volleyball and development of each skill set.
Open to girls in grades 4 through 12, the Skills Camps will be held July 13 (Hitter/Setter Camp) and July 14 (Serving/Passing) for $125 per individual.
Loyola will also host a Prospect/ID Camp for high schoolers, July 19. An elite-level camp specifically designed for high school students who are pursuing a collegiate athletic career, this offering provides a high-level training and playing environment that features the same training sessions used at the collegiate level.
All three of these sessions checks in daily at 8:30 a.m., with camp running until 3 p.m., and each camp includes a t-shirt and lunch.
Loyola's summer camp offering concludes with the High Performance Camp, July 22-24. Open to girls in grades 8 through 12, registration for this elite camp for both developing and experienced players is $425 for commuters or $475 for overnight campers. Check-in will take place July 22 at 1 p.m., with camp to conclude July 24 at 4 p.m. Registration includes a t-shirt and all meals.
All camps will be held in Gentile Arena on the Loyola Lake Shore Campus (6511 N. Winthrop Ave.).
