CHICAGO (August 5, 2019) – Loyola University Chicago's dance team turned in a stellar performance at the NDA College Camp hosted by the University of Louisville, July 28-30, capturing first place in the Division I Team Performance competition.
 
Camp consisted of a game day performance competition, the learning of sideline and halftime performance material, technique classes and a team routine performance competition that combines the styles of jazz, hip hop and pom.
 
Loyola topped Eastern Kentucky and Southern Illinois to round out the top three finishers in the Division I Team Performance competition. The Ramblers received a Gold Paid Bid to the 2019 NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida. Other top finishers included the University of Louisville and West Virginia University.
 
Three Ramblers were recognized as All-American Dancers as selected by the NDA. Allie Boutsikakis and Brooke Wrasse earned an All-American Award, while McKinley EspindaBanick was an All-American nominee.
