CHICAGO (September 27, 2019) -Â Following two tough matches against conference foes, the Loyola University Chicago men's soccer team looks to bounce back as they travel to Drake on Sunday. The location for Sunday's match has been changed to Bill Buxton Stadium at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. The match will still kick-off at 1 p.m.
Last Time Out: A double overtime battle resulted in one point for the Ramblers on Wednesday, as they ended in a scoreless draw with Bradley. In the match the Maroon & Gold recorded a season-high 25 shots against the Braves, who registered nine. Loyola also won the corner kick battle with 19, beating the Bradley opponent record for corners. Bradley is 4-1-2 all-time in the seven games it has surrendered at least 13 corners and 3-0-1 in the four games allowing at least 14 corners.

vs. Drake: Currently on a four-game win streak, the Bulldogs sit second in the Missouri Valley Conference with a 5-3 overall, 2-0 MVC record. Drake had a pair of four match win streaks during the 2015 NCAA Tournament, but haven't seen a five-match win streak since the 2011 season. Goalkeeper Luke Anderson has recorded the last four straight shutouts in just eight career starts. Junior Leroy Ensuguzi has scored one goal in three of the last four matches, leading the Bulldogs with four goals this season. Graduate Student Austin Smythe has also found the back of the net twice for Drake. Head coach Gareth Smith is in his fifth season with the Bulldogs, who finished 7-7-3, 3-3-1 in 2018.

Series Stuff: This is the 16
th meeting between the two teams after the Ramblers faced the Bulldogs twice last season. Drake leads the all-time series, 7-5-4. Last season's first match on Sept. 22, 2018 resulted in a 1-1 draw. The Maroon & Gold advanced to the MVC Championship on Nov. 9 after defeating Drake, 1-0 in double overtime.
Aidan Megally scored the lone goal to help the Ramblers advance.
