Tiara Wallace (Berkeley, Ill./Montini Catholic) has been recognized as College Sports Madness' Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week, the organization announced on Monday.
Â
Wallace averaged 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists, all team-best marks, as Loyola picked up wins over Indiana State and Evansville last week to open the second half of its Valley schedule.

In Thursday's 65-55 win over the Sycamores, Wallace was one of three Ramblers to score in double figures, finishing with 13 points (3-6 FGs, 1-2 3FGs, 6-7 FTs), seven rebounds, and six assists. The Berkeley, Ill. native saved her best for Saturday's matchup with the Purple Aces, pouring in a career-high 26 points (10-13 FGs, 1-2 3FGs, 5-5 FTs) in addition to 13 rebounds, six assists, and three steals as the Maroon & Gold rolled to a 77-47 triumph.
