CHICAGO (August 11, 2020) – A pair of former Loyola University Chicago men's basketball stars -
Aundre Jackson and Milton Doyle - recently signed contracts to continue their professional playing careers in Europe. Doyle inked a deal with Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste in Italy, while Jackson will join BBC Sparta Bertrange in Luxembourg.

Doyle most recently played seven games with Hapoel Eliat in the Israeli Winner League, averaging 15.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.9 steals per game. The Chicago native and member of Loyola's All-Century Team played the 2019-20 season in the NBA G League, recording 17.5 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 5.8 apg and 2.0 spg in 40 appearances with the Windy City Bulls.Â

The 6-foot-4 guard concluded his Loyola career, which spanned from 2013 through 2017, ranked eighth on the school's career scoring chart with 1,606 points and fifth in program history with 459 assists. His best season came during his senior campaign when he contributed 15.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.7 steals per contest in 2016-17, earning First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference recognition.

Meanwhile, Jackson, a 6-foot-5 forward, who is coming off a solid season with Apollon in Cyprus, will play for BBC Sparta Bertrange in the same league where another former Loyola player, Jordan Hicks, starred until last winter. In 21 games with Apollon in 2019-20, Jackson, the 2017 MVC Newcomer of the Year, put up 11.7 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 2.2 apg and 1.6 spg.Â

Jackson, who came off the bench and provided instant offense to help the Ramblers to the NCAA Final Four in 2018, began his professional career with Skallagrimur in Iceland in 2018-19, where he tallied 19.9 ppg, 8.3 rpg and 2.3 apg in 21 contests. He also played for BC Kyiv in Ukraine last season.
