TAKING FLIGHT
Miami arrives in The Windy City at .500 on the year, sitting at 2-2 following a 70-59 setback on the road at Northern Kentucky on Wednesday evening. Led by third-year head coach DeUnna Hendrix, the Redhawks, who were picked 11th in the MAC Preseason Poll, will be facing off against its second Missouri Valley Conference foe when it takes on the Ramblers. Miami rolled to an 85-60 win over Valparaiso in its regular season opener on November 10.
Peyton Scott has gotten off to a red-hot start for Miami this season. A Second Team All-MAC honoree from a year ago, Scott averages a team-best 23.0 points and has cracked the 20-point in each of the Redhawks' last three games. Ivy Wolf has also impressed in her debut season, putting up 12.3 ppg. Wolf poured in 23 points in her collegiate debut in Miami's aforementioned win over Valparaiso.
UP NEXT
Loyola begins a stretch that sees it play six of its next seven games away from the friendly confines of Gentile Arena next weekend when it ventures east for matchups with Dartmouth (December 3) and Vermont (December 5).
