CHICAGO (Dec. 3, 2021) – For the past six years, the Loyola University Chicago softball team received customized gloves from Rawlings Sports, and this season was no different.
All 18 members of the team received their customized gloves before leaving Rogers Park for the for the winter break. Each Rambler got to pick the exact style they wanted with their name and number embroidered on the side of the glove. Each glove showcases Loyola's colors but with each athlete's personal touch.
The gloves range from standard brown leather with gold lacing and stitching to gray and white leather with brown lacing and white embroidery and everything in between. As long as the Ramblers used Loyola's colors, they could design their glove to fit their own personal style, which means no glove is alike.
This is a tradition the team has done for the last six seasons as they received their gloves this morning during their final practice of the fall semester. The Ramblers will have the rest of this semester off before coming back in 2022 to prepare for the upcoming season.
