CHICAGO (March 22, 2021) –Winner of three straight matches, including two victories over then-No. 8 McKendree, the Loyola University Chicago (11-3, 7-3 MIVA) men's volleyball team is ranked No. 14 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I-II Poll. The Ramblers are one of three Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) teams to hold down a spot in this week's poll.

Last week, Loyola picked up its first wins over a nationally ranked opponent since the 2019 season when it pulled out a pair of victories against No. 8 McKendree. The Ramblers' 11-3 start this season matches their record through 14 matches n 2019.

Loyola is back in action this weekend when it travels to Ball State for contests on March 26 and 27.Â
