Anneka Murrin and
Claire Hengesbaugh both moved into the top five on the Loyola University Chicago all-time record board in the 5,000m run on the second day of the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C.

Murrin, just 11 days removed from appearing at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, turned in a stellar effort in her debut in the event, placing 21
st overall with a time of 16:24.30 that ranks third all-time in Rambler annals. Hengesbaugh was just as impressive, checking in two spots back in 23
rd after a run of 16:26.29, the fourth fastest time in program history.

Alan Peterson said. "She's worked so hard and to have this huge breakthrough is beyond deserved. Anneka also continued her outstanding season. To come back from the NCAA meet last week and compete the way she did is all you can ask for."

Blake Buysse put forth a dazzling performance of his own this evening in The Tar Heel State. Competing in the 10,000m run, Buysse shaved more than 90 seconds off his previous personal best in the event, racing across in 30:21.53 to place fifth in his heat and 34
th overall.

"Blake executed a great race," Loyola assistant coach
Mircea Bogdan added. "He was confident coming in, got better as the race went on, pushed himself during the key moments, and, in the end, came up with a great time a big personal best. We are so proud of his efforts. He had a great opportunity today and grabbed it with both hands. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and more exciting races."
