CHICAGO (March 20, 2022) – The Loyola University Chicago men's golf team will have the opportunity to see how it stacks up against multiple Missouri Valley Conference foes this week at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate in Springfield, Mo.

Set for the Twin Oaks Country Club (par 71, 6,760 yards), the event will begin with 36 holes of play at 8:30 a.m. on Monday morning. Â Tuesday's final round is also scheduled to get underway at 8:30 a.m.Â

Valley rivals Missouri State, which serves as the event host, Bradley, Drake, Northern Iowa, and Valparaiso join Loyola in a 16-team field that also features Central Arkansas, North Alabama, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, SIUE, UT-Martin, Tennessee Tech, Western Illinois, and Wichita State.

The Maroon & Gold's starting five will be unchanged from when it saw action just under two weeks ago at the Jackrabbit Invitational. That quintet includes graduate students
Devin Johnson and
Ryan Magee, redshirt senior
Tyler Anderson, and juniors
Timmy Crawford and
Zach Walsh.

Johnson paced the Ramblers, who took eighth in the team race, in Boulder City, Nev. The Geneva, Ill. native closed play with a 222 (72-80-70), highlighted by a final-round two-under-par 70, en route to earning a share of 18
th place.

Loyola is back in action April 4-5 at the Redhawk Invitational in University Place, Wash.
