CHICAGO – Head men's golf coach Peter Pougnet announced the signing of Nathan Anderson to the 2026-27 roster Friday afternoon. Anderson is a Texas native and is transferring from Weatherford College.
 
"We are excited to add Nathan to our roster for the upcoming season," said Pougnet. "He brings two years of college golf experience from playing on a good JUCO team and will help our six freshmen. He has made great strides with his game the last two years, and we are excited to see where he can go from here!"
 
During the 2025-26 season, Anderson posted a 72.4 scoring average and placed inside the top 20 twice. He opened the year with an 11-under-par score at the Poss High Country Shootout for 16^th place. He landed 17^th at Texas Wesleyan Spring Invitational to cap the season.
 
Anderson was tabbed All-Region and All-Conference in 2026 and was a two-time Academic All-Conference selection.
