Jana Rokitta both took home titles in their respective events as the Loyola University Chicago track & field teams closed out a busy weekend this afternoon at the Redbird Challenge in Normal, Ill.

Wollen impressed today in the 1,500m run at the Redbird Track & Field Complex. The Oak Park, Ill. native shaved eight seconds off her time from last weekend, racing through in a personal-best 4:39.58 to top the final leaderboard. Like Wollen, sophomore
Fran Hendrickson took down her week-old personal best, finishing in 4:46.63, a four-second improvement from just seven days ago.

Rokitta soared to victory in the high jump. The Wuppertal, Germany product matched her season best, clearing 5-05.00 (1.65m) on her first attempt at the height. Also competing in the field, senior
Ilhame Tamrouti used a top toss of 152-07 (46.51m) to earn a runner-up finish in the javelin.

Cameron Arkesteyn turned in the top performance of his career in the 800m run, surging to a heat win in 1:56.16. Running alongside Arkesteyn, freshman
Jack Slaughter came through in 1:57.09, the top time of his young outdoor career in the event.

Madi McLain and junior
Timothy Harris each finished with season bests in the 400m hurdles. McLain ran 1:08.10 to take third place, while Harris landed fourth on the men's side of the event in 55.48. In the 200m dash, sophomore
Jevan Terry put up the top effort by a Rambler this season as he crossed in 22.46.

Loyola is back in action next weekend, April 22-23, at the Indiana Invitational in Bloomington, Ind.
