COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 13, 2022) – USA Volleyball announced the 25 athletes who will compete for the Men's National Team in the Volleyball Nations League this summer. Two former Rambler legends made the cut in Thomas Jaeschke and Jeff Jendryk.
Jaeschke was an outside hitter for Loyola for three seasons from 2013 to 2015. During his career at Loyola, Jaeschke racked up 1,053 kills and 542 digs while hitting .372. He also received AVCA First Team All-America accolades twice during his career. He was also a part of the back-to-back national championship teams.
Jendryk was also a legend for the Ramblers, receiving AVCA All-America accolades all four years of his career, which only 12 people have done in the history of Division I-II men's volleyball. The middle blocker was named the Most Oustanding Player of the 2015 men's volleyball tournament. He also has the numbers to back his career, putting up a .449 (947-174-1,722) hitting percentage along 434 career blocks.
