CHICAGO (July 19, 2022) – A record seven members of the Loyola University Chicago men's basketball team have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, it was announced today. The Ramblers' seven honorees rank second among institutions from their former conference (Missouri Valley), their new league (Atlantic 10) and among NCAA Division I schools from the state of Illinois.

To qualify for the NABC Honors Court, individuals must be a junior, senior or graduate student academically and own a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or higher at the conclusion of the 2021-22 academic year.

Braden Norris,
Ryan Schwieger and
Tom Welch all received NABC Honors Court recognition.

On the court, Loyola maintained its position as one of the top program's in the country, earning a third Missouri Valley Conference Championship title in the last five years, while also achieving a third NCAA Tournament berth in the last five seasons.
