FAIRFAX, Va. – The red-hot Loyola Chicago women's volleyball team won its sixth consecutive match and picked up its fifth-straight sweep with a 3-0 victory over George Mason Friday evening.

Karlie McNabb had a match-high 10 kills while
Addie Barnes (7 kills, .400 hitting %) and
Taylor Venuto (5 kills, .833 hitting %) each had effective nights on the attack.
Bree Borum dished out a match-high 26 assists and led a balance defensive effort with nine digs.

"It was another great team effort where everyone contributed," said head coach
Amanda Berkley. "I thought Bree ran a good offense and we improved blocking from last week."

How It Happened
The Ramblers dominated from start to finish Friday evening. The latest George Mason held a lead was at 5-4 in the opening set and 2-1 in the third set. Loyola led wire-to-wire for the entire second frame.

The .300 hitting percentage was the highest single-match hitting percentage for the Ramblers this year, with five players finishing with a .300% or better. All 14 Ramblers who dressed for Friday's contest saw action, with freshmen
Kaley Board and
Avary DeBlieck each recording a pair of digs. Fellow freshman
Olivia Gardner added a kill, freshman
Jordan Bruckner picked up a dig and the fifth freshman,
Kylie Schulze, added an assist.

Loyola owned a 9-4 advantage in blocks, with Venuto and
Emily Banitt each contributing getting in on four blocks each.
