Ramblers Rally at Fordham, 10-6

BRONX, N.Y. (April 30, 2023) - The Ramblers and Rams were able to squeeze in one game Sunday morning before rain canceled game two. In a game of rallies, Loyola scored the final five runs for a 10-6 win. Madison Ebeling tallied four of Loyola's 11 hits and scored three.

The Ramblers improve to 21-21 on the year and are 15-6 in the A-10.

Loyola had a 5-0 jumpstart through the top of the three with a two-run double and three run homer from Sydney Barnett and Haley Wallace. Fordham responded with six unanswered through the fifth to swing the lead in its favor for the first time of the day. Wells tripled bringing in the first two in the third and followed up with a three-run blast in the fifth.

The Ramblers made up for the damage with a five-run fifth inning to regain the lead. Amelia Thomas used a single to center to bring in the tying and winning runs before Sierra Sass stole home for the eighth run. Barnett and Nova Sinskul tallied back-to-back RBI singles making it 10-6 to cap the rally.
