LAST TIME OUT
The Flames netted two set piece goals last Friday to escape with a 2-1 win over the Ramblers at the Hampton Inn Chicago Classic.
Oscar Dueso scored LUC's sole goal of the evening, an equalizer in the 28
th minute of action.
John Gates took the ball to the right corner of the box crossing the ball to
Julian Cisneros. Cisneros drew the goalkeeper far right with anticipation of a shot, but he headed it down to the feet of Dueso. Dueso sunk a wide-open look and the match was tied, 1-1.
Later after the halftime break, the Flames took the lead in the 65th minute after setting up a set piece just outside the box. Paul Brauckmann of UIC drained the attempt on-goal, giving the Flames a lead which they never relinquished. With the loss, Loyola now sits at 2-1-1 overall.
