DEKALB, Ill. (Sept. 26, 2023) - The Loyola University Chicago men's soccer team's match against NIU Tuesday night was called in the 38th minute due to continued lightning strikes in the surrounding area. Any potential rescheduling of the contest will be determined at a later date. 

Loyola Chicago was in the lead, 2-0, after Oscar Dueso archived a brace with goals in the 23rd and 28th minutes of play.

LUC is next in action this Saturday (Sept. 30) as it plays host to VCU at Loyola Soccer Park. Kick off is set for 3 p.m. while the program will be recognizing and honoring its class of seven graduating seniors prior to the start of the match.
