The Loyola University Chicago women's basketball team is set to host league-leading Saint Joseph's this Wednesday (Jan. 31) inside Gentile Arena. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. CT with Scott Sudikoff (PXP) and Chris Sparks (Color) calling the action live on ESPN+.

- Only five other student-athletes in the A-10 average more minutes than Galanopoulos (33.4).

2023-24 Rambler Bites
- Seven letterwinners return to the roster, including three starters. The Ramblers welcome six newcomers, including two freshman and four transfers.
- In addition to new players, Loyola added assistant coach Simon Harris and assistant coach Jenna Rubino-McCormick to the program in the off-season.
- Head coach Allison Guth is in her second season at the helm of Loyola. She enters her eighth year as a head coach after spending the first six seasons at Yale.
Scouting The Saint Joseph's Hawks
- With an overall record of 19-2 and a near-perfect 8-1 mark in A-10 action, the Hawks pace the league's standings.
- The Hawks' A-10 loss came Jan. 6 against Richmond. The Spiders edged St. Joe's, 64-59, on the road.
- St. Joe's most recently defeated Davidson, 68-42, at home for its sixth straight win.
- Talya Brugler, who leads the Hawks in points per game (16.4) led all scorers with 19 points.
- Head coach Cindy Griffin is in her 23rd season guiding Saint Joseph's.
- Last season, St. Joe's fell, 59-44, to Saint Louis in the Atlantic 10 Tournament Quarterfinal round, but accepted a bid to the 2023 Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT). The Hawks lost, 69-61, to Seton Hall in the first round.
All-Time Against Saint Joseph's
- The Maroon and Gold are searching for their first-ever win over the hawks as they trail in the all-time series, 0-2.
- The two teams met for the first time ever in 1994 - a 92-53 road loss for the 'Blers.
- Last season, the two programs met in Philadelphia on Jan. 10, 2023. Loyola lost that matchup, 58-36.
