SAINT LOUIS – The Ramblers swept their third straight victory Tuesday night against the Billikens.
Marta Cvitkovic and
Esma Ajanovic eclipsed 10 kills each, while
Bree Borum made it her sixth straight double-double.
With the win, Loyola Chicago improves to 12-11 overall and 7-5 in A-10 play.
"This was a great win for us during a challenging road trip in the middle of the week," said head coach
Amanda Berkley. "I thought offensively we took care of the ball and made smart swings. Sam and Olivia made some plays defensively that we were able to transition to kills. Bree also had another good match finding her hitters and being a threat herself."
Cvitkovic had a match high 12 kills, while Ajanovic tallied 11 more. Lovett posted a .636 hitting percentage with seven kills, and
Ann Marie Remmes had eight from the middle.
Borum's sixth straight double-double came with 33 assists and 10 digs.
Sam Falk and Lovett led Loyola with 13 digs each.
