CHICAGO – It was a beautiful morning for the 45th Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational at Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course on Chicago's lakeshore. In a field of 15 teams for the men's 8k championship, Loyola Chicago finished fifth, while the women's team placed eighth in a 16-team field for the 6k championship.
Wisconsin took the team title in the Tom Cooney Championship, while Dismus Lokira placed first as an individual. Alabama won the women's title, while Doris Lemngole of the Crimson Tide finished first.
Rambler men took fifth overall after accumulating 165 points and an average time of 23:51.
Jason Clayton led the 'Blers' pack, placing 20
th with a time of 23:32.8. Running a 23:50.9,
Miles Clisham finished next in 32
nd.
James Lawrence (23:56.9) and
Miguel Abaitua (23:57.0) crossed the finish line together in 35
th and 36
th.
Gabe Smit (23:59.5),
Jake Phillips (24:13.1),
Woody Jerome (24:19.3), and
Cael Mulholland (24:26.6) finished in succession.
The Loyola Chicago women placed eighth with a score of 251 and an average time of 20:47.
Julia Isham led the Ramblers, placing 29
th with a time of 20:25.5.
Delia McDade-Clay finished on her heels with a time of 20:28.2, placing 32
nd.
Roisin Treacy rounded out the Ramblers' top-three, clocking a 20:55.5.

Eileen Seebon (21:13.9),
Grace Jostock (21:19.1) and Daphné Dornic (21:29.9) finished next in that order.
In the men's open division, two Ramblers claimed top-10 times.
Nate Boutin placed fourth with a time of 24:46.1. Behind him in eighth was
Gabe Ryan who clocked a 24:56.3.
Ali Gillooly led Loyola in the women's open division in 18th with a time of 21:52.4.
Aiden Grasse was close behind with a 22:00.8 to finish 24
th.
Lily Mataway took 36
th with a time of 22:28.3.
