Looking to get back in the win column, the Loyola University Chicago women's basketball plays its second straight road contest Saturday (Feb. 17) as it plays Richmond in Virginia. Tip-off from the Robbins Center is slated for 5 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

• Loyola Chicago and Richmond are set to clash for the second time ever, tomorrow on the east coast.
• The Maroon and Gold recently fell to 12-13 overall after suffering a 77-68 loss at Saint Louis.
• Sitori Tanin's logged her sixth double-double of the season and the 10th of her career after scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds vs. the Billikens. It was her second in the past three games as she previously logged a double-double at La Salle Feb. 8.
• Fisher, who scored 28 points against the Billikens earlier in the season, scored a game-high 23 points to bring her season total vs. Saint Louis to 51 points.
• 12 of Fisher's points came at the free throw line, a season-high for the graduate student.

• Galanopoulos eclipsed 400 assists through her career on Feb. 11 vs. Davidson after picking up three.
• The Ramblers are in the nation's top-60 (59th) in 3-point percentage with their 35-percent clip.

2023-24 Rambler Bites

• Seven letterwinners return to the roster, including three starters. The Ramblers welcome six newcomers, including two freshman and four transfers.
• In addition to new players, Loyola added assistant coach Simon Harris and assistant coach Jenna Rubino-McCormick to the program in the off-season.
• Head coach Allison Guth is in her second season at the helm of Loyola. She enters her eighth year as a head coach after spending the first six seasons at Yale.

Scouting The Richmond Spiders

• One of the hottest teams in the nation, Richmond are winners of 13 of its last 14 games. Its last loss came Jan. 24 at Duquesne.
• Most recently, the Spiders defeated VCU on the road, 65-58.
• Grace Townsend propelled Richmond to the win with her third game with 20 or more points this season - scoring 23.
• The Spiders were 19-of-45 (42-percent) from the field and 7-of-20 (35-percent) from deep. They were a perfect 20-for-20 at the free throw line.
• The Spiders' 73.3points per game leads the Atlantic 10. Nationally, their blocks per game ranks sixth (5.9) while their 3-point percentage ranks seventh (39-percent). 

All-Time Against Richmond

• Last season on Jan. 4, 2023, was the first meeting between the two programs.
• Anna Brown led Loyola with 12 points and six rebounds, along with 11 points and six boards from Sam Galanopoulos.

Last Time Out
The Loyola University Chicago women's basketball team suffered a 77-68 defeat to Saint Louis on the road Wednesday night. Sitori Tanin notched her sixth double-double of the season and Alyssa Fisher scored 23 points in the loss. The Ramblers outscored the Billikens in the final two frames by four and six points, but it wasn't enough inside Chaifetz Arena.
