MOBILE, AL. (March 24, 2024) – The Loyola University Chicago men's golf team opened play Sunday morning, finishing day one of the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate in eleventh place.
The Ramblers combined to shoot a score of 294, one shot behind Loyola Maryland, Western Kentucky, and South Alabama, who all sit in a share of eighth place with 293 strokes.
Leading the way for the Maroon & Gold was graduate student
Zach Walsh, who fired a one-over-par 72 to place in a share of 18
th. Sophomores
Dori Lee (T-25) and
Ryan Walsh (T-38) placed within a stroke with scores of 73 and 74 respectively while freshman
Jackson Overton sits in 45
th with a 75. Rounding out the lineup for the Ramblers was sophomore
Sebastian Kasun, who placed in 59
th with a 76.
The Ramblers are right back at it on Monday morning, resuming play with an 8:30 a.m. (CT) start.
