CHICAGO – Parker Van Buren of the No. 12 Loyola University Chicago men's volleyball team picked up 2024's final MIVA Offensive Player of the Week plaudit after leading the ramblers to a sweep over No. 14 Lewis this past Saturday. The award marks his second in as many weeks and his third of the season.

Van Buren led Loyola to a win over No. 14 Lewis on Senior Day in straight sets (25-16, 25-18, 25-21), racking up 21 kills (7.00 p/s) on 40 swings for a .475 clip. Notably, the Cross Plains, Wis. native had just two errors through the affair. Van Buren tallied five digs and three blocks as well.

No. 2 seeded Loyola Chicago welcomes No. 7 (18) McKendree to Gentile Arena for the MIVA Quarterfinal round this Saturday (April 13). First serve is set for 6 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
