HESSE, Germany - Former Loyola University Chicago women's basketball student-athlete
Emma Nolan inked a professional contract with Bad Homburg, the organization announced. Nolan is the third Rambler to sign a pro deal this offseason, joining her twin sister,
Sophia Nolan, and
Sam Galanopoulos.
Appearing in all 31 games with five starts in her sole season with the Maroon and Gold, Nolan led Loyola with a career-high 18 points in a key win over Rhode Island on Jan. 10. She achieved career highs in that game with five field goals made and four three-pointers. She recorded seven rebounds three times, scored in nine of Loyola's final 10 games, and tied her career-high in steals twice. She ended the year with a 32-percent three-point clip, the team's fourth-best.
Nolan, a native of Valparaiso, Ind., is the seventh Rambler since 2010 to sign a contract to compete at the professional level. She joins Galanopoulos,
Sophia Nolan, Troy Hambric, Taylor Manuel, Bre Hampton-Bey, and Allison Day.
