WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ramblers' goalkeeper
Allison Deardorff was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Monday, Sept. 16 in the league's fifth batch of the weekly honors.
The redshirt freshman secured her fourth shutout of the season and made seven saves against Eastern Michigan on Sept. 15 – both season and career highs – to help Loyola Chicago maintain a perfect 5-0 nonconference home record.
She's started and played the full 90 in every single match so far this season, accumulating a team-high 720 minutes, tied with defender
Alaina Abel.
It marks the second-ever A-10 weekly award for Deardorff and Loyola Chicago's fifth overall since joining the league in July 2022.
