CHICAGO – Loyola University Chicago head coach Gavin Kennedy announced the men's and women's track and field teams' 2025 outdoor schedule Tuesday. The Ramblers will compete in six meets leading up to the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships in May.
The Maroon and Gold carry their momentum into the outdoor season after an impressive showing at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championships, where they recorded seven top-3 finishes. Highlights included James Lawrence's dominant victories in the men's 5,000m and 3,000m.
Loyola opens its outdoor campaign March 27-29 at the WashU Distance Carnival and Raleigh Relays. The following weekend, April 4-5, the Ramblers will race at the Chicagoland Championships and the Stanford Invitational.
From April 16-18, Loyola will travel to Azusa, Calif, to compete in the prestigious Bryan Clay Invitational. The Ramblers will then shift their focus to the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships, set for May 3-4 at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Va.
Qualifiers will advance to the NCAA West Preliminary, scheduled for May 28-31, with the NCAA Championships set for June 11-14.
