RALEIGH, N.C. – The Loyola University Chicago men's and women's track teams concluded competition Saturday at the Raleigh Relays and WashU Invitational.
Alessandra Rodriguez highlighted the action in Raleigh, clocking the fourth-fastest outdoor 800m time in school history. She finished second in her heat with a time of 2:08.27. Kate Wojcikiewicz followed, crossing in 2:15.00.
On the men's side of the 800m, Samuel Field placed sixth in his heat with a time of 1:50.93.
In St. Louis at the WashU Invitational, Priscilla Ravera led three Ramblers in the 1,500m, recording a personal-best 4:52.00. Jo Collins followed with a personal record of 4:54.00, while Charlotte Wilson finished in 5:26.00.
Trent Anderson paced Loyola's men's 1,500m effort, logging a personal-best 3:57.71. James Howell (1:53.00) and Jack Slaughter (1:54.00) were effective in the 800m as well.
The Ramblers return to action next weekend (April 4-5) at the Chicagoland Championships and Stanford Invitational.
