Klein Claims U.S. National Volleyball Team Roster Spot

Departure for Pan Am Cup Aug. 3.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the second consecutive year, Loyola Chicago's Aidan Klein was selected to the USA Volleyball U21 Men's National Team and will represent his country on the international stage at the NORCECA Men's U21 Pan American Cup and the FIVB Men's U21 World Championship.

Last summer, Klein was on the NORCECA U21 Continental Championship team that defeated Canada in straight sets to clinch the gold medal and qualify for this year's World Championship.

The 24-deep roster will head to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. to train from July 27-Aug. 2 ahead of the two major international competitions. The Pan American Cup takes place in Calgary, Canada from Aug. 3-11, and the World Championship will be hosted in Jiangmen, China from Aug. 19 to Sept. 1.

UCLA head coach John Hawks will lead both the Pan Am and Worlds teams. Loyola men's volleyball student manager Thomas Shaffer will serve as the performance analyst for the Pan Am squad.

USA Volleyball's National Team Development Program (NTDP) supports the growth of high-potential athletes through training and competition at the highest level. More information about the 2025 U21 team, as well as the summer competition schedules, can be found at usavolleyball.org.
