WASHINGTON – Loyola Chicago's
Karli Molnau is named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week following her performance for the Ramblers during the Loyola Invitational last weekend.
Over the three matches, Molnau averaged 3.18 kills per set, .82 digs per set, and .82 blocks per set. She posted a .443 hitting percentage.
The freshman hitter recorded a season-best 13 kills in a five-set win over SFA to open the tournament. She hit .444 and added four digs and three blocks.
Molnau followed up with nine kills on a .450 hitting percentage vs. Indiana. She tallied another four digs and three blocks.
To wrap up the tournament, Molnau matched her season-high with 13 kills vs. Bowling Green. She added one dig and three blocks to her total.
