Loyola Chicago (6-1-2, 1-0 A-10) hits the road for another two-match away stint, beginning at Dayton (4-3-2, 1-0 A-10) on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. then at Davidson (4-3-1, 0-1 A-10) on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 12 p.m. Both times are listed in Central Time.

- Goalkeeper Allison Deardorff was named the back-to-back Defensive Player of the Week after making a season-high eight saves in Loyola's conference opening win over Fordham on Sept. 21. She leads the A-10 in three categories: goals against average (.333), saves (.921 save percentage) and in shutouts per game (.778).
- Nationally, Deardorff is tied for first in the country in shutouts per game, she sits at No. 7 in save percentage and is tied for ninth in GAA.
- Zoe Hevey netted the game-winner, her second deciding goal of the season, in the 66th minute off an assist from Jadyn Harris for her first key pass of the year. Hevey has had at least one point the last five matches.
- Loyola's 6-1-2 record is its best start to the season since 2022.
- The Ramblers are No. 7 in the eastern region of the United Soccer Coaches Top 10 Regional Rankings.
- Loyola welcomed 10 newcomers to their 2025 roster, including five true freshmen and five transfers while 18 Ramblers returned.

SCOUTING REPORT
The Flyers are coming off their first conference win, a 2-0 victory at La Salle (Sept. 20) after wrapping their nonconference slate with a 3-0 shutout against Akron (Sept. 12). In the league win, Defender/midfielder Ella Raimondi netted the game-winner and Caroline Schork had the insurance goal. Dayton's defense held La Salle to just six shots with goalkeeper Batoul Reda making two stops; the Flyers totaled 15 shots (6 SOG).
After nine games, Reda ranks third in the league in GAA (.778) and in shutouts/game (.667), sits at No. 5 in saves (.829 percent).
The Wildcats fell 2-0 at the Saint Louis Billikens (Sept. 21) after a pair of first-half goals; Charlotte Hansen had Davidson's lone on-target shot. Davidson's defense faced 15 shots in the second half, six of which were saved by goalkeeper Grace Stair. Davidson faces St. Bonaventure on Thursday, Sept. 25 ahead of Loyola's match.
SERIES HISTORY
Dayton leads Loyola 9-1 in the all-time series; the Ramblers secured their first-ever win over the Flyers last season in a 1-0 win at Loyola Soccer Park. Since joining the A-10 in 2022, Loyola is 1-2 against Dayton.
Loyola holds the series advantage, 2-1, against Davidson. The Ramblers have won the last two meetings with the Wildcats; the series' score is 1-0 for all three matches.
