CHICAGO – Loyola Chicago women's soccer hits the road for two straight matches. The Ramblers open the trip at Rhode Island on Oct. 4 at 12 p.m. CT. Loyola is defending an eight-match unbeaten streak, while the Rams won their last two.

QUICK KICKS
• The Ramblers played Dayton to a 0-0 draw over the weekend. It's only the second time in the 11-match series history Loyola has earned a point against the Flyers.
• Allison Deardorff set the program shutout record with the draw. It marked her 25th overall shutout and seventh of the season. The previous record was 24 set by Monica Gonyo in 2015. Her season total currently ties for fourth on the single-season charts with 10 being the most recorded in one year.
• Deardorff's seven shutouts this year leads the country. She is tied with seven other keepers. Deardorff also ranks 30th with a .857 save percentage, 49th with 28 saves, and 57th with a .73 goals against average.
• Loyola hasn't lost a match in its last eight contests. Over that stretch, the Ramblers are 3-0-5. They have wins over Illinois State, Northern Illinois, and Fordham. Loyola's five draws this season is tied for the most in the A10 so far this year.
• Zoe Hevey is also climbing the Loyola career ranks. Her assist vs. La Salle bumped her point total to 40, tying 10th on the program charts. Three more goals will tie her for 10th, while three more assists will move her up to second all-time.
• In Loyola's first A10 win of the season at Fordham, the Ramblers scored three goals. Addison Schaffer scored the game winner in the seventh minute for her first career goals. She later assisted on the second goal of the match. Schaffer earned A10 Player of the Week honors for the efforts.
• Deardorff also brought home Defensive Player of the Week honors after the win. She tallied a season-best eight saves in the shutout.
• Head coach Jon Sandoval is in his second season leading the Ramblers. He holds a 12-6-10 record with Loyola. Over his seven-year head coaching career, Sandoval sits at 74-26-25 overall.
