CHICAGO — For the penultimate event of their fall season, the Loyola Chicago women's golf team travels to Indianapolis, Indiana for the 2026 Butler Fall Invitational on Oct. 5-6.
The tournament will be held at the par-70, 6,040-yard Highland Country Club. Players are set to tee off with a shotgun start on Monday at 8:00 a.m. (CT) and will play the first two rounds continuously. The event's third and final round will be played on Tuesday with players teeing off again at 8:00 a.m. (CT).
Loyola will be joined in the 14-team event by host Butler, Ohio, Akron, Western Illinois, UIC, Southern Indiana, Detroit Mercy, Tennessee State, Northern Kentucky, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Indiana State, Austin Peay, and fellow Atlantic 10 Conference member Dayton.
This is the fourth consecutive season that the Ramblers have participated in this tournament. Marian won the 2025 Butler Fall Invitational as a team with a score of +29, while Dayton's Kylee Heidemann won as an individual in a playoff with a score of +1. Loyola finished the 14-team event in fifth place with a score of +59.

Brandy Johnston and the Ramblers enter the Butler Fall Invitational coming off a 10th-place finish at the Powercat Classic, in which
Robbin Zetrouer ended as the highest-finishing Rambler thanks to a career-best 54-hole score.
Johnston will be using the same starting lineup for this event, which consists of juniors
Grace Hui and
Madison Haugen and sophomores
Robbin Zetrouer,
Maureen O'Leary, and
Reese Kite. The only addition to the lineup is freshman
Sofia Afable, who will be playing as an individual this week.
