Coach Quote: Alicia Abbott
"Opening day is always a good measuring stick, and today showed us where we need to grow. Kentucky and San Diego State are high quality opponents and while the results didn't go our way, I'm proud of the way our team competed today, pitch by pitch. We had some opportunities in game one that we didn't capitalize on, but the good thing is it's day one. We'll learn from today, clean up some details and come back tomorrow ready to respond."
