CHICAGO – Loyola men's golf heads south to the Babygrande Donald Ross Collegiate hosted by George Mason in Southern Pines, North Carolina. Round one is slated for March 9, round two on March 10, and rounds two three on March 11.
Action begins at 7:15 a.m. CT Monday and Tuesday and at 8:05 a.m. CT Wednesday. This season's event will be held at the Mid Pines Inn & Golf Course. It's a par-72 and 6,657-yard course.
Loyola will compete against Bowling Green, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, George Mason, George Washington, Georgetown, James Madison, Ohio, Old Dominion, Richmond, Robert Morris, Saint Joseph's, South Dakota, St. Bonaventure, St. John's, St. Thomas (Minn.), Towson, VCU, and William & Mary.
Competing for the Ramblers are Sebastian Kasun, Dori Lee, Charlie Kulwin, Ryan Walsh, and Connor Woodin.
Kulwin was Loyola's top finisher last time out at Gulf Coast Collegiate with a +10 score of 226 (80-73-73), placing fourth. He also had a team-leading 37 pars, which tied second in the event.
The Ramblers will take two weeks off before heading to Alabama. Loyola will compete March 30-31 at Mobile Bay Intercollegiate hosted by South Alabama.
