WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Loyola Chicago women's volleyball tabbed second in the 2026 Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll, announced by the league's office on Tuesday afternoon.  

Dayton was picked as the preseason favorite with eight first-place votes while Loyola received two. VCU rounds out the top three.  

The Ramblers are coming off another historic season after earning back-to-back A10 Tournament titles and a second straight NCAA Tournament appearance.  

Loyola opens its season at the Cyclone Invitational in Ames, Iowa on Friday, Aug. 28 against host team Iowa State at 6:30 p.m. CT. The squad will face UNI and Georgia Tech throughout the weekend.
