CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago closes a home stand Sunday night with its red line rival the DePaul Blue Demons. The teams kickoff at 6 p.m. at Loyola Soccer Park. DePaul is fresh off a win against Western Illinois earlier this week, while the Ramblers forced a 1-1 draw against Milwaukee Thursday night to remain undefeated.

QUICK KICKS
• Earlier this week, Milwaukee took a 1-0 edge in the 73rd minute, but Loyola's Nicholas Roe scored his first goal of the season off a corner kick in the 84th minute to tie the match 1-1. Arved von Vegesack and Luka Ivancic, who was the corner taker, were credited with assists on the equalizer.
• Loyola out-shot its opponent for the first time this season, leading 14-8 against Milwaukee. Maxwell Ionita made three saves in goal for the Ramblers. He has nine saves and counting this season.
• The Ramblers went 2-0-0 in the first week of 2026 action. The season opened with a 2-0 shutout win at Green Bay followed by a 3-1 win over NIU on Sunday in the home opener.
• At Green Bay, Chimnosoh Okeke sent a cross in the box that made contact with Mateusz Drazek before Daniel Firs got his head on it for the game winner in the 52nd minute.
• The second goal of the match came in the 80th minute from Seth Stewart who netted a deflection off the Green Bay goalkeeper to secure the 2-0 win.
• At home vs. NIU, the Ramblers netted three goals in the win. Braeden Wright put the Ramblers on the board early in the sixth minute of play. He got his head on a free kick into the box by Luka Ivancic
• Drazek scored the game winner in the 31st minute with a left footed goal off an Okeke assist. The final goal came at the 57-minute mark credited to Jack McFleey on an assist by Seth Stewart.
• Drazek earned A10 Rookie of the Week accolades for his performance last week. He tallied three points over the two wins with his first career assist and goal recorded.
• Head coach Kevin Robson is in his first year at the helm. He was named the fifth head coach in program history in December 2025.

SCOUTING DEPAUL
• DePaul sits at 1-1-1 heading into Sunday's match. The Blue Demons earned their first win of the year earlier this week over Western Illinois, 3-1.
• The Blue Demons were tabbed fifth the Midwest Division of the Big East's preseason poll. DePaul went 2-8-7 last season and 0-6-2 in conference play.
• Noah Hernandez was an All-Big East preseason selection. He was the 2024 Big East Midfielder of the Year and had three goals last year. Hernandez has five points already for DePaul with two goals and one assist.
• DePaul has started two keepers this season. Chance Johnson has a team-leading seven saves and the win between the posts.

The Ramblers lead the all-time series, 23-16-5. DePaul has won the last two meetings, including last season's match, 2-1.
