CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago returns to its home turf for a pair of games this week. The action kicks off with La Salle on Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. CT. The Ramblers are defending a six-match unbeaten streak, while the Explorers are on a three-match win streak heading into the contest.

QUICK KICKS
• Loyola won its Atlantic 10 opener at Fordham over the weekend, 3-0. All three goals came in the first half.
• Addison Schaffer scored unassisted at the 6:57 mark for the game winning goal and later assisted on the second goal of the match by Zoe Hevey. Lydia Case buried the third goal in the 40th minute.
• Allison Deardorff earned the win and shutout in goal. She made eight saves. The shutout marked the 24th of her career, which ties her for the all-time record set in 2014 by Monica Gonyo.
• Schaffer and Deardorff were named A10 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. Schaffer's honor was the first of her career after scoring her first ever game winner, while Deardorff's marks the second of the season for the keeper.
• Riga Kallaba was last week's A10 Rookie of the Week after helping Loyola to a 1-0-1 record off the bench. She scored her first career goal in a 1-1 draw at Marquette for the Ramblers.
• After her start to the season in goal, Deardorff ranks in the nation's top 100 in four categories. Three of those fall in the top-35. Her six shutouts ranks second, .860 save percentage ranks 28th, 43 total saves ranks 34th, and .778 goals against average ranks 71st.
• Head coach Jon Sandoval is in his second season leading the Ramblers. He holds a 12-6-9 record with Loyola. Over his seven year head coaching career, Sandoval sits at 74-26-24 overall.

SCOUTING LA SALLE
• The Explorers have won its last three games and sits at 4-3-2 overall and 1-0-0 in A10 play heading into Thursday's match. La Salle beat Davidson in the league opener and had a 7-4 win over Howard and 2-0 shutout at Lehigh to close non-conference play.
• Justyce Hollenbach leads the Explorers with 14 points and six goals. Both rank second in the league. She ranks 35th in the NCAA in goals and 51st in points. All six of her goals came in the last four matches. Hollenbach netted two vs. Lafayette, had a hat trick vs. Howard, and scored against Davidson.
• Ella Cadigan has a team-best seven assists, which leads the A10 and ranks second in the country. She had a career-best four assists in the team's win vs. Howard. Cadigan has three matches with at least two assists.
• La Salle was tabbed eighth in the A10 Preseason Poll earlier this year. The team went 7-8-3 overall and 4-4-2 in conference play last year.

SERIES HISTORY
La Salle leads the all-time series, 4-1-3. The last three meetings resulted in a draw, including a 3-3 deadlock last year. Mia Lanni tallied two goals, while Maggie Schmidt netted one.
