MUNCIE, INDIANA – The Rambler men's golf team wrapped up the two-day Earl Yestingmeier Invitational on Sunday afternoon. Loyola Chicago competed at the Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Indiana, on the par-70, 6,624-yard course.

Loyola finished in tenth at +32 (297-295-280) with a total score of 872.

"I'm really proud of our finish today to move up the leaderboard. Going 10-under the last nine as a team was great," said head coach Peter Pougnet. "Alex and Michael really carried us the entire event, and I'm happy they just keep getting more comfortable in college golf. Unfortunately, the first 45 holes of the event we really put ourselves in a hole. We will continue to work and develop these guys to get ready for Kemper next week."

Alex Lee led the Ramblers, finishing tied for 12th at +2 with a three-round score of 218. Lee posted rounds of 75, 74 and 69, finishing the tournament with 36 pars, tying 12th among the field. 

Next up for the Ramblers, Michael Washburne finished tied for 21st at +4 with a three-round score of 220. Washburne carded rounds of 77, 72 and 71, recording 10 total birdies and 33 pars.

Jackson Overton finished tied for 71st at +14 with a three-round score of 230. Overton posted rounds of 78, 79 and 73, recording 32 total pars and six birdies.

Connor Woodin also tied for 71st at +14 with a three-round score of 230. Woodin carded rounds of 77, 78 and 75.

Yago Lopez finished tied for 82nd at +16 with a three-round score of 232. Lopez posted rounds of 76, 79 and 77.

Andrew Chan competed individually for the Ramblers, finishing 93rd at +21 with a three-round score of 237. Chan recorded rounds of 79, 81 and 77, along with 33 total pars and two birdies.

Loyola will return to action next week at the Kemper Lakes Intercollegiate on Oct. 5-6 in Kildeer, Illinois.
