CHICAGO (October 4, 2019) – Five Loyola University Chicago men's basketball home games will be televised live on NBC Sports Chicago or NBC Sports Chicago+ during the 2019-20 season as part of the Ramblers' local TV package, which was announced today.
Three games in the season's first month are part of this season's local television schedule, beginning with a November 12 game versus Coppin State on NBC Sports Chicago+. Before the month closes out, two more Ramblers non-league battles will air on NBC Sports Chicago+ - November 16 versus Saint Joseph's and November 20 against IUPUI. All five Ramblers telecasts will also be live streamed to authenticated NBC Sports Chicago subscribers at NBCSportsChicago.com/WatchLive.
The slate of nonconference contests concludes with a marquee matchup versus Atlantic-10 Conference title contender Davidson (Dec. 22), which has been ranked by numerous media outlets as a potential Top 25 team this season.
Land of Lincoln bragging rights will be on the line February 19 when the Ramblers host league rival Illinois State on NBC Sports Chicago+ in the lone Missouri Valley Conference contest as part of Loyola's local TV package this winter.
These contests are in addition to three other Loyola games that will air as part of the MVC Game of the Week package – versus Missouri State (Jan. 4), versus Southern Illinois (Jan. 16) and versus Drake (Feb. 25).
Loyola, which has won back-to-back MVC regular-season championships and is coming off its second straight postseason berth, opens up the 2019-20 campaign October 29 when it hosts Indianapolis in an exhibition game at 7 p.m.
