Porter Moser To Join NCAA Tournament Coverage As A Guest Studio Analyst

Loyola head coach has guided program to first back-to-back postseason berths since 1963-64

CHICAGO (March 22, 2019) – Loyola University Chicago men's basketball coach Porter Moser will serve as a guest studio analyst for CBS Sports and Turner Sports as part of their coverage of the NCAA Tournament this weekend, airing across CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV. Moser, who has orchestrated Loyola's most successful period in decades, will be joining the Atlanta studio team of host Casey Stern and analysts Brendan Haywood, Candace Parker and Seth Davis, March 23 and 24.

Moser has guided the Ramblers to three postseason appearances in the last five years, racking up 109 victories. The Naperville, Illinois native has piloted Loyola to its first back-to-back 20-win seasons since the mid 1980s, consecutive regular-season conference championships for the first time ever and produced the only two Academic All-Americans in program annals.

A year ago, Moser steered an upstart Loyola squad to a school-record 32 victories, a No. 7 final ranking in the USA Today Coaches Poll and the Ramblers' first appearance in the NCAA Final Four since winning the national championship in 1963. He was named Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year in 2018 and in 2015 led Loyola to the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) title.

This season, Moser led Loyola to a National Invitation Tournament (NIT) berth, giving it consecutive postseason appearances for the first time since 1963 and 1964.

For the ninth consecutive year, CBS Sports and Turner Sports will provide live coverage of all 67 games from the 2019 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship across four national television networks – TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV – and NCAA March Madness Live. This year's tournament will continue First Round coverage this afternoon, Friday, March 22, beginning at noon ET.

CBS will broadcast this year's NCAA Final Four National Semifinals on Saturday, April 6, along with the National Championship on Monday, April 8.
