"We took a small group out to the NIU Huskie Classic and had some great tune-up performances," Loyola head coach
Bob Thurnhoffer said. "Oyinlola is rounding back to top form after a severe ankle injury in February and we are now sitting 2-3-4 in the triple jump heading into conference. Vince looked spectacular in the open 400m and Dino is absolutely on fire in the high jump. It was just what we needed heading into next week."
The Loyola track and field teams now turn their attention to the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships next weekend in Terre Haute, Ind.
