2019 Cayman Islands Classic Bracket

CHICAGO (June 19, 2019) – Game matchups for the third annual Cayman Islands Classic were announced today and Loyola University Chicago will take on South Florida in the opening round of play at 12:30 p.m. CT November 25. The Ramblers will face either Colorado State or New Mexico State November 26.
 
The other opening-round matchups feature George Mason versus Old Dominion in the first game of the evening session November 25, followed by Washington State battling Nebraska.
 
Semifinal-round games are slated for 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. CT November 26, with consolation bracket games scheduled for 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT.

Located in the western Caribbean Sea, an hour from Miami, the Cayman Islands comprises the three islands of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman, located south of Cuba and northwest of Jamaica. 
 
Head coach Porter Moser's squad is coming off its second straight Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title and postseason appearance, having earned a National Invitation Tournament berth in 2018-19. The Ramblers return three starters from last year's 20-win outfit, including First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference center Cameron Krutwig.
 
Loyola's complete 2019-20 non-conference schedule will be announced later this summer.
